Delivery and Substitution policy:
DELIVERY POLICY

Orders must be received by 12:00 pm EST for same day local deliveries Monday – Friday. Orders placed after that deadline will be delivered the next day. Orders for Saturday delivery must be placed no later than 11 am EST on Saturday. Orders placed after 11 am EST on Saturday or all day Sunday will be delivered Monday.

Delivery fees range from $15 - $25 and will be calculated at checkout based on distance. We can also handle your out-of-area orders, as we are members of an exclusive network of florist across the country and world.

We will make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If our driver is unsuccessful in delivering your order and a second delivery trip is required, an additional delivery fee may be charged. For this reason, we request that you provide an accurate phone number for your recipient so we may contact them should we need to do so to complete the delivery.

Always deliver the freshest flowers!
Please note the bouquet and vase pictured reflects our original design.  If the exact flowers or container in this arrangement are not available, our local florists will create a beautiful bouquet with the freshest available flowers.

Every order is important to us because we know how important it is to you. We earnestly endeavour to please every customer with beautiful flowers and accommodating service. Knowing that flowers are a perishable natural product and that floral arrangements and floral gifts are handmade, we make every effort to fortify our floral products and ensure the quality, accuracy, and beauty of our work. Many variables determine whether a flower will last as long as anticipated or whether a designer has created something which you will enjoy. Because we constantly seek ways to bring some of these variables under our control for improved floral performance, we welcome your comments and inquiries. Also, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of one of our products, then please contact us immediately and we will promptly take the appropriate action. 

We always do our best to accommodate our customers’ delivery needs.  However, we are not always able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods.  To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Delivery Instructions field during checkout. Before major holidays, we strongly recommend that you place your orders several days in advance.  

Taxes Pricing

Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the area of our store location.

Please note that all prices are presented in USD unless otherwise noted.

Many products are available in Regular, Deluxe, and Premium sizes that you can upgrade to.

Ordering During the Holidays

Our store and delivery hours may vary for major holidays. To help ensure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least two days prior to the following holidays:

Funeral Arrangements

These orders are our very highest priority. Funeral arrangements typically require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please try to let us know several days in advance so we can best accommodate your needs. Sunday deliveries may not always be available. 

Specific Delivery Times

We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time. You may request a time frame in the special instruction box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If your delivery requires a specific time we will be happy to offer you our express delivery service for an additional fee, if available.

Same Day Delivery

We will always try to accommodate a time sensitive order. Same day deliveries are generally available if placed before noon, but may not be available around major holidays. Please call us if you have any questions about the timing of your delivery.

Delivery to Hospitals

We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order. 

Recipient Not Home 

To ensure prompt delivery, recipients may be called to schedule a delivery.

If No One is Home: Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery. 

Recipient Maybe Contacted: In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery. 

Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. We cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request. 

P.O. Boxes

We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.

Incorrect Addresses

If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $10 address correction fee. We are not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

Substitution Policy 

Fresh Flowers:  We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and visa versa. 

Plants: For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible. 

Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.Substitutions for Special Occasions: Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.

In addition to any specific discount and promotion code restrictions and exclusions, unless explicitly stated otherwise, all offers and promotions are:

 Valid for local delivery only within our delivery area

Valid online only

Can not be combined with other offers or promotions or discounts

Does not apply to gift baskets or direct shipped items/nationwide items

Not valid for events or weddings

Not valid on previous orders

Not valid for custom designs

Not valid on orders over $500

Promotions and Discounts have no cash value

Cancellation  & Replacements

Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process at the florist, en route or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call 757-745-7020.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery

If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the gift.

Card Messages

The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.

Returns/Refunds

As the purchaser of items, the purchaser agrees that:

As flowers are a perishable item, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:

All issues must be indicated to us within 24 hours of delivery by calling 757-745-7020 or emailing flowers@beyondthedecor.org — if you are calling after hours, please leave a message with a time to reach you and phone number and we will call the next business day.


We will happily replace any damaged item, which may have had its quality affected during shipping
As items are perishable, we do not issue refunds, however if the issue cannot be resolved, an in-store credit may be available.


Returns are accepted on a “quality” basis only — issues of “not liking” the arrangement are not grounds for a return.


As flowers are perishable, you must water them, otherwise they will not last long. It is the recipient’s responsibility to re-cut and water the arrangement.


If you are ordering flowers for someone else, be sure you are choosing something they would like — style preferences are not grounds for returns.


As all flowers are not always in season, or not in stock, we reserve the right to substitute blooms with a similar “look” and feel without prior consultation. We will do our utmost to make the arrangement as close to the advertised picture as possible. If you require a specific product, please call and check for its availability.


Delivery times are generalized to “morning” and “afternoon” deliveries. If you require a timed delivery, please call and speak with our designers to make those arrangements.


It is your responsibility, as the sender, to ensure that the recipient will be at the location of the delivery on the date of delivery. If the recipient goes home early (if delivered to a workplace) or is out of town (for home deliveries), unbeknownst to us, it is not cause for refund or exchange as we have fulfilled our obligation in delivering upon the date of request as ordered by the sender.
